Selena Gomez has taken to Instagram to honor her best friend Theresa, who she says makes her laugh “more than anyone on the planet”, but fans’ attention is elsewhere, as they’re mistaking Gomez for Kylie Jenner in the snaps.

Selena honors her OG Girl Theresa
Taking to her 427 million Instagram followers, Selena Gomez honored her ‘best friend T with a number of pics.
The two can be seen taking selfies and embracing their friendship with a range of fun poses and outings.
In the caption, she wrote: “To the person who makes me laugh harder than anyone on this planet. My OG girl. Thas my best friend. Love you T #main#day1.”
In 2019, Selena shared another post honoring her and Theresa’s friendship, which she captioned:
“I met Theresa 5 years ago. We worked together and became best friends. She has taught me how to see life in a fun, carefree, and uplifting way. She has shown me how to be a strong and fearless woman.”
Fans ‘mistake’ Selena Gomez for Kylie Jenner
Selena’s millions of followers took to the post to celebrate all the content they’ve been getting from their fave lately, and others had to mention how they mistook her for Kylie.
“We’re getting so much Selena content lately and I’m here for it,” penned one.
“I thought it was Kylie Jenner in the first pic,” stated another fan. Others replied directly to the comment, agreeing, as they wrote “Me too!”
Another exclaimed: “I KNOW THAT’S RIGHT. T is the icon.”

Gomez and Jenner’s friendship explored
Selena and Kylie started publically hanging out in 2014 amid Gomez’s relationship with Justin Bieber. However, after several dramas Gomez and the Jenners stopped hanging out.
Their close friend Hailey Baldwin, at the time, then got with Justin. Ever since, Hailey and Selena dramas have surrounded the internet, and Kylie somehow managed to be involved with the famous “eyebrow” video on TikTok.
However, she then denied this was anything against Selena as she wrote on: “This is reaching, no shade towards Selena ever and I didn’t see her eyebrow posts. You guys are making something out of nothing. This is silly.”
