3 hours in Henley heaven | Columnists

Longtime readers know about my deep admiration for Don Henley. Over the last 25 years or so, I’ve traveled all over the Southeast to see either him as a solo act or with The Eagles more than a half-dozen times.

He is the greatest songwriter of my generation, even if he couldn’t sing a lick, and he is the greatest male singer of my generation, even if he couldn’t write a lick. To be so gifted at both makes him the rarest of talents.
